  • Isn't telemarketing outdated now?
Despite the birth of the digital world and the rise of social media and other new marketing platforms, telemarketing still remains a pillar of generating new business for one undisputable reason - the quickest way to start a conversation is to pick up the phone! So while the old ways of telemarketing are long gone, where companies would throw as much mud at a wall as they could to see what stuck, telemarketing in today's business world is all about starting conversations with the relevant people, providing value, building relationships, and nurturing leads towards conversion.
  • What can you guartantee?
While we can't give any guarantees on campaign results, what what can guarantee is complete honesty, transparency, experience and flexibility when it comes to your campaign. What's more is that we will never take on a campaign that we feel we couldn't deliver on, because if you don't succeed, neither do we.
  • Does River work on a cost-per-lead basis or a daily rate?
At River B2B, all of our campaigns are done on a daily rate. While the cost-per-lead model works from some agencies, because we strive for quality and to provide you with nothing but the best opportunities, this model doesn't work with our campaigns. When we generate leads, they are exclusive to that campaign and the specific client, whereas with cost-per-lead telemarketing, leads are typically offered to multiple businesses who then have to compete for the opportunity. Our daily rate covers absolutely everything, from our agent's time on the phone and data acquisition, to software costs and even email marketing send-outs that are included in your campaign. Everything comes under one price so that there are no nasty surprises!
  • What industry experience does River have?
Our team at River have decades of telemarketing experience. Coming from various sectors and backgrounds, our diversely skilled team have run telemarketing campaigns in a range of industries and some of the most complex and competitive international markets. As a company, we have experience running campaigns in the business services, education, technology, medical, and industrial sectors, as well as a track record and knowledge of the care sector that is unrivalled by any other telemarketing company in the UK. • How is River's campaign data sourced?
Our data lists are only obtained from trusted, regulation compliant data houses. We have multiple suppliers that we use depending on the industry that is being targeted. All of our suppliers have strict processes to ensure data protection and privacy compliance. If you would like to know more about our data sources, please fill out our contact form.
  • Can I provide my own data for my campaign?
If you have your own data list for us to call, fantastic! We do ask that you ensure that any data that you provide is regulation compliant so that any and all campaigns that we carry out on your behalf are done so lawfully and ethically. This not only protects us, but helps to protect your business' reputation and trustworthiness in the eyes of your prospective and existing customers.
  • Does River use telemarketing scripts?
Unless for initial training purposes, we are strong believers that scripts detract the ability to hold flexible conversations with a prospect. Instead, our team use 'campaign guides' which contain important information that they might need e.g. potential objections and rebuttals, questions they need to ask and information they need to gather, as well as information about your business and a rough pitch that they can use as a guide. We do this to give our agents the flexibility to find a pitch that works for them and their own unqiue personalities, while still mirroring your brand's values and ethos.
  • Does River work in the office or from home?
At River, we work in a flexible, hybrid working environment. While we predominantly work from our office based in Fareham (just outside of Portsmouth), we give our agents the ability to work from home should the circumstances see fit.
  • Does River provide digital marketing services?
While River B2B's core function is to provide business development services through targeted telemarketing and email marketing activity, we have a sister company called Inspired Digital! Inspired Digital provides a range of digital marketing services including social media management, content creation, email marketing, website development and on-site SEO audits and optimisation plans.
